Philosophy

Sulzenbacher Hotel Development GmbH is a specialized hotel and restaurant Consultancy Company vesturing in both the leisure and tourism sector, located in Salzburg (Austria). In a time when, more than ever, hotel and tourism enterprises are dynamic structures and subject to permanent change, our mission is to support our customers in accomplishing their goals. Their success secures our future. 

Our main goal is the development of solutions. We work together with our customers in all stages, from conception to execution, until the jointly defined goals are achieved.

Our activities cover all major service areas within the hospitality industry, particularly for investors, project developers and finance institutes as well as for international hotel companies and private hotel owners. We cooperate with industry experts nationally and internationally. 


History

The Managing Director Peter Sulzenbacher has a long-standing career in the international five-star Hotel business, which principally brought him to Southern- and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Central Asia.

Born in Austria, Peter Sulzenbacher exhibits extensive experience within the hotel and tourism sector. He has worked for Kempinski Hotels & Resorts as Opening or Project General Manager establishing hotels in Odessa-Ukraine, Thessaloniki- Greece, Abu Dhabi- UAE, Bodrum– Turkey and as General Manager at the Kempinski Munich Airport Hotel in Germany.  

Earlier he had joint the Hyatt Group as the Managing Director of the Hyatt Regency Hotels in Belgrade–Ex Jugoslavia and Almaty–Kazakhstan. As a Member of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the TUI Iberotel A.S. Resort Hotels, he operated eight 4 & 5 star Resorts in Turkey, he was the Opening General Manager of the Polat Renaissance Hotel in Istanbul – Turkey, a position also held previously when managing the Parksa Hilton Hotel in Istanbul and the Hilton in Bahrain. 

From 1996 to 1999, Peter Sulzenbacher held the position of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria in Kazakhstan. Spoken languages are: German, English, Russian and Turkish.
